Two grants with funding for physics graduates (or someone similar).

 

1. Available immediately. 12 months research assistant (£24,831). Cancer Research UK-funded to assess the cancer risk from sunbeds. This will include visits to sunbed premises and on-site measurements. Suitable for new graduate. The outcome of this project will shape government policy, which makes this an exciting opportunity.

 

2. Available soon. 12 months part-time (50%) research assistant (£29,789 pro rata). EU funded project to assess the suitability of photonics crystal based technology for early detection of cancer. Three years post-graduate experience required.
